The way to get motivated to play on your guitar is to do it to a crowd. Are you comfortable playing in front of an audience and relish every minute of it? Performing really doesn’t need to be too formal!

The right venue to practice your guitar melody collection is to gather a tiny group in your own house. Your audience could be your own family relatives. There are many occasions when you can perform and play your music in the home and maybe you will also try to get others in your family or among your pals to play on their instruments in such a setting. This of course needs some planning to prepare a domestic presentation and for your own preparation also.

But if you don’t like to perform? There is one way you could still rehearse your guitar and that is to play in private and envisage that you are playing in front of a crowd. In these types of fake shows, you must be honest to your self and diligently play every piece of your original plan from beginning to the finish and if you make a slip, what can be done? You might decide not to stop at a mistake and carry on with your playing in this type of quiet and passive show. This would in the end result in your enhancing the level of self confidence and self discipline as well, and this would give you an opportunity to learn from your errors of guitar playing.

This performance could also be recorded and played again, for detecting mistakes, if any. You need not make this recording plan too involved – there are cellular phones and mp3 players, which assist you to do this with ease. Making a recording is similar to having a critic in the audience and listening to other players is also beneficial. You must have great ambitions to be with the top rungs of guitar players and this can be done when you continually listen to others playing who are superior to you. You must work the same kind of love, which you would display in a performance when you rehearse you guitar pieces, or learning songs. As you learn your music you will also observe your attitude, posture and your tension level. The sense of joy and happiness that you feel during rehearse would spread to the audience when you play in front of the populace.
